         <description><![CDATA[<p><br></p><p><br></p><p>We've done collaborative planning where we discussed a standard across grade levels to plan instruction. We then planned a unit and watched the unit taught in different classrooms. Then, we regrouped to discuss improvements and student engagement/learning from instruction. Then had opportunities to reteach for better understanding. </p><p><br></p><p>We found a barrier that students did not know how to answer certain test questions, so we started giving students practice questions that closely align to question types they would see on the FAST. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Sabal Palm</p><ol><li><p>We were able to incorporate a focus on idioms and figurative language as part of our CLW activities. With literature, songs, and videos students and teachers had resources at their fingertips.</p></li><li><p>Students participating in book tasting events, loving going on a blind date with a book, and begging for more. Every morning students run to the circulation desk to check out books. We have to kick them out to make it to class on time. They ate sharing AR test scores and seeing the connection of all these things.</p></li></ol>]]></description>

We incorporated Tier 1 instruction support through a schoolwide Spiral Review. We also incorporated support specifically with R.1.4 into our After Owls tutoring sessions.</p></li><li><p>We have seen evidence of growth through formative assessment in the classrooms, pre/post tests in our After Owls program, and through the data in PM2.</p></li></ol>]]></description>

We have increased data chats amongst administration, teachers, and students (almost daily). We have implemented more interventions after identifying literacy deficits. We have increased reading challenges across campus.</p></li><li><p>Student accountability has increased campus-wide. Students are now more motivated to read. The ELL students are now more engaged in class and school activities because of the intentional focus to teach them the English language.</p></li></ol>]]></description>

Our teachers are digging deeper into the data and even helping other teacher with students during their planning times.
