I find that there are SO MANY little nuances about an IEP. I'm learning as I go, but there's always something to learn about it like SOS for 8th graders going into high school, specifics about proper placement of a student with ONE resource class (should all other core be gen-ed or inclusion?) There is just a lot to know, and so far, learning as I go has been most effective for me. I wish that an IEP document were as easy to create in Esped as a tax return is to complete in Turbo Tax.

For me the most challenging part in dealing with IEP/FIE's is creating a clear picture and plan moving forward. A lot of times there is so much information presented that it is in the tiniest detail if missed, would be devastating for the student. How do I better understand the data to create a stronger and clearer plan for my kidos?
