The house of Chanel originated in 1909 by Gabrielle Coco Chanel when she opened a hat store at 160 Boulevard Malesherbes, the ground floor of the Parisian apartment of the high-class textile businessman Etienne Balsan. Because the apartment of Etienne Balsan was also a salon for hunting and sporting elites, she had the opportunity to meet the women of fashion, upon whom rich men displayed their wealth— such as ornate clothes, jewelry, and hats. McDonald's is a huge American fast-food chain. It was founded by two brothers Richard and Maurice McDonald. They opened their first restaurant in 1938 in San Bernardino. It was a small restaurant until 1954 when a man called Ray Kroc bought a milkshake mixer machine created by the brothers. He liked it, so he decided to become a partner with McDonald's and help them improve their work. They agreed to open a new branch in Chicago, and this marked the real beginning of the company. Kroc started to develop a new model for the fast food restaurant, which provided fast and delicious meals at reasonable prices. With time, they expanded their business and opened branches all around America, gaining huge popularity. Today McDonald's is considered to be one of the most famous restaurant chains in the world, and I'm one of the biggest fans of it because of the constant quality and the amazing prices.
