Time management in college is very important because it can reduce stress, make students perform better academically, helps to balance student's priorities, and it can become a habit that will benefit students for years to come. One way that can help with is to keep up with a planner. Every week, write and plan on what you have to do and set goals on what you want to accomplish that week. Another way that can help is to give yourself an effective time limit on how long you can do school work, and turn off or get away from all distractions. This allows for your work to be your main focus, and will help you to remain focused and get more done.

Time management is important because it is how you are able to get everything you need done. If you don't have time management, you won't allow yourself enough time to finish whatever it is that you need done, whether it is school or extracurriculars. It can become overwhelming and extremely stressful if you do not have good time management. A good strategy is to have a calendar of some sort. I use google calendar which is very helpful for managing my time and tasks. Google Calendar allows you to put in what tasks you need done and at what specific time.

Time management in college is so important. I am a mother of two young girls and a 4th grade teacher. My extra time is very limited. I have to fill my time wisely and planning out when I am going to get my school work done is crucial to my college success. When I was working on my undergrad I was still a mother, so I have never not known having kids while in school. Being proactive with assignments and getting them done, correctly the first time makes my life a lot easier.

Time management is indeed very very important in college. I personally am lacking in this area and I have had to pay the price for it a few times. Even after it was stressed by everyone that it was so important. Being sure that you are handling assignments and work while also turning them in on time is like 80% of college. It is very challenging but when you get it figured out it is so worth it. I agree that having a planner is super helpful and will keep you reminded of all your upcoming events.
