1. It is a market.
2. A person is selling vegetables and some of them are buying it. His bike is parked near to his outlet.
3. The place is little crowded and most of the buyers are women.

CHITHRANJALI M It is a market. peoples are crowded over place to place. shopkeepers are selling their things. people buy things. some of them carries big bags. there is a bike which is parked inappropriately behind the market. plastic sheet is used as roof. some vegetables are placed in units so that it will be easy for the shopkeeper to handover things. most of the buyers are ladies. it seems like a temporary market.

A women was seeing like someone is snapping at me. As like she didn't take a snap before. As it was a cold season everyone(not all max. Of 2-3) was having scoff over their necks. As the market was started early or he may be late to market, the shopkeeper had parked the bike as of very urgent. As I think red chillies are wet so that he has spread, that to dry.

- There are mostly female buyers in the marketplace.
- The sellers are displaying their goods by placing them over a flimsy piece of cloth. Another cloth seems to be hung over to provide them shade.
- The marketplace seems to be a makeshift arrangement - with no proper allotment of space to buy and sell goods.
- It would be a pain to sell goods when it rains.
- It probably is a weekend day going by the size of the crowd in the day.

Seller is very eager and trying his best to sell the vegetables and some other spices whereas buyers are generally taking a look and analysing what should they buy and from which seller should they buy at minimal cost. In the picture, people are not so crowded. A bike is standing behind a vendor. And it should be a temporary market.

A man is trying to sell few vegetables.Floor and roof are made using some sort of sheets. ladies asking the price or something.Carry bags are hand made not plastic .Their dressing style is not modern .There is no roads or shops in the picture,they all may be poor and they have minimum facilities.There is only 1 bike .I think this belongs to the seller.It parked near that man.It seems no parking facilities .No other vehicle.Transportation facilities may be less.No kids are present it seems to be not a holiday like normal day

goal: to observe the current scenario on the local market and find the difficulties that they are facing. activity:- selling and buying things environment: local market , which is very poorly constructed . buyers use tarpaulin to place the things and also for roofing. it's very humid. interaction: we have to interact with both buyers and sellers
object: poor organization. selling goods are not well packed .the goods are not well maintained.
users: here, the users are mostly women. they are bargaining with the seller.

This is a picture of a village market. A vendor is in focus, whose goal is to sell the goods at village market, for making a living

A – The actions and behaviors adopted by him to reach goal, is crude manner. Lacks professionalism. All the items are laid on floor, uses a makeshift arrangement.

E- The overall setting in which the activities are taking place is a rural area. People behave casually.

I – The interactions are based on verbal bargaining. No fixed price is displayed.

O – The objects used to set up for attaining his goal, all are low cost makeshift items. Uses, the best and maximum of what he already have.

U – The user under observation is a street vendor. He engages with his customers in a casual manner. He could attain his goal faster, if he could be different from other vendors in the environment, ie- the market. He could attract more customers, if he made sales in a proper elevated stall, with proper information on pricing etc.

Here the "Activity" is selling vegetables in the market. "Environment" is bit cold in the morning as there is a winter season and also people were wearing scoofs(max. 2-3) and also in some rush mood. There the "Interaction" is carried between people and seller it can be bargaining and also between people to people also. in this "Object" is selling the vegetables for shopkeepers and buying it for people. here "Users" are people who have arrived early in the morning to buy vegetables.
finally the "Goal" is how the conversation takes place between the buyers and sellers and how they do it.
