I would like us to engage with the young people in our community and the older ones too. People who are perhaps less able to pay for all the other things that go on in our area. Quality activities at low prices.

There's a need to focus on helping audiences make a connection with the heritage rather than the church activities. The idea of activities connected with textiles seems promising. And perhaps something connected to the craft of gilding, linked to the war memorial?

The impact I would like all audiences to feel when they walk through the doors and participate in an activity in the building is the unconditional and uplifting love, warmth and support of God - even if it is not explicit and the events are non-religious and open to all faiths or no faiths.

Primary school children: With cultural/heritage events we could look at audiences of school children.

Elderly people: Clubs or groups of senior citizens who could also have tea and biscuits and a social gathering whilst learning about history or carrying out a craft workshop.

Deaf community: We already have a connection to the Deaf and Deaf/blind church in London. Could we widen out to run a monthly activity that is inclusive to the wider blind community in London?

Local Teenagers: Hold workshops in coordination with local secondary schools regarding CV building, interview techniques etc.

Tutoring for children in need in Westminster by Hamden Guerney students as after school program? Bryanston nursery early years Heritage educational venue during bad weather?

According to Young Westminster Foundation “Westminster contains some of the largest income, wealth and health disparities in a capital city where for every £1 owned by the bottom 10% of households, the top 10% own £17215. Westminster has the 3rd highest level of child poverty in the capital, with 33.7% of children living in poverty16”.

When I was a young person living in New York City there was a program called Arista Honor Society where young people with high academic grades can apply to be a part of. From that there was something called Arista Tutoring which is voluntary after school program of peer to peer tutoring for young people helping tutor other students in need for free.

Similarly could there be a peer to peer education program offered by Hamden Guerney? With Hamden Guerney students being from a school with highest academic test scores in the country located in City of Westminster, has unique position in relationship with Annunciation and high academic aptitude to help make change and improve education for less fortunate students from Westminster. Could there be an after school program for the older Hamden Guerney students to tutor other students in need in Westminster as part of this peer to peer program and can that be hosted at the Annunciation?

Bryanston nursery is a key tenant of the Annunciation. At the nursery the carers curate various different educational activities and outings regularly. During inclement weather can Annunciation upper level because a place of learning heritage though play for young babies and toddlers?

Could there be collaboration with Young Westminster Foundation and/or City of Westminster to help these children in need?
