They were able to take as much time as they needed to complete it and 90% of the class was able to finish before time ran out. This lesson lended itself to be an independent assignment, where I gave directions at the beginning then it was up to the student to complete it on their own time. I felt as though more conversation would have helped students get different perspectives on the assignment and would have led to brainstorming amongst the class. They were able to come up with an original story and create a piece of media to reflect that story, which was the goal of this assignment.
