         <description><![CDATA[<div>A primary pollutant is an air pollutant emitted&nbsp; <strong>directly from a source</strong>. Its is emitted directly by autos, and industry. Fossil fuel combustion (gasoline and diesel engines) is the main source for nitrogen oxides in urban areas, while microbial activity in the soil and agricultural practices such as the use of synthetic fertilizers are its main sources in rural areas. Exposure to nitric oxides may cause an inflammation of the respiratory tracts.<br><br></div>]]></description>

It’s include ozone, which is formed when hydrocarbons (HC) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) combine in the presence of sunlight (NO2), which is formed as NO combines with oxygen in the air.          <description><![CDATA[<div>1.      N02 upon inhalation reaches the lungs and convert into nitrous and nitric acid which are highly irritating and cause damage to lungs.</div><div>2.      An exposure of 0.06-0.1 ppm of N02 for 2-3 yrs causes acute respiratory disease.</div><div>3.      NO2 oxides cellular lipids, form bonds with haemoglobin, reduces the efficiency of oxygen transport and disrupts some cellular enzyme system.</div><div>4.      About 500-600 ppm of N02 for 2-10 days results in pulmonary haemorrhage, lung cancer and gum-inflammation.</div><div>5.      330-1500 ppm of NOx present in cigarette smokes develop lung disease in victim ans lowers the resistance to influenza and bronchitis.</div>]]></description>
