I am writing to inform you that we are going to have a team building event on next Monday so I have some ideas about this corporate event.

Firstly, I think our company should organize it in – house because some reasons: first, we want to make sure everything is the thing we want. Beside, we can save money for our company. Moreover, company’s employees have skills and experiences to organize it and this is the chance for everyone to work together for better connection.

Secondly, the function of event is to give some networking opportunities for all staffs and managers to work better and connect everybody in company. Therefore, the participants should include managers and employees in company.

Thirdly, I think ideal venue is the beach resort to organize outdoor activities – very important for this kind of event and we have the budget for it. So Nha Trang beach is the best choice.

Finally, we will organize this event about 2-3 days to have enough time for everyone relax. There are many activities organized at team – building event. During the day, we are going to race the boat, play some competing games and at night we can gather to set up campfires, dance and eat BBQ together.

The first, I will mention to visible component. It includes logo, dress code and slogan. About logo, it looks very simple with a golden lotus in the center of the blue background with the name Vietnam Airlines under the flower. It represents youth, desire, passion and dynamism. Besides, I’m very impressed with dress code. The man wear shirt and black trouser with a tie. The women wear white shirt and black skirt. It look very formal. Moreover, one of factors that make up reputation of Vietnam airline is slogan. It is “Reach further” which is meaningful, short and easy to remember.

The next, I will share information about invisible component of Vietnam airlines. One of the missions is provide aviation services with international quality standard to meet the increasing needs of customers. It vision is .maintain the position as the best Airline of Vietnam and become 3rd best airline in Southwest Asia region and one of the best airline in the world. About ceremonies, its culture event is The cultural space event “Vietnam Airlines- Spring Take-off” on January 27th - 28th that brings a taste of the Tet - Lunar New Year Festival - in the old days via cultural activities that deeply portray Vietnamese cultural identity. Its special policies is quality policy: commit to provide customers with best services and enhance the quality of service products towards meeting requirements and satisfying customers’ expectations and training policy: all employees have opportunities to join the professional training programs concerning job requirements and fully funded.

The last, Vietnam airlines provides a lot of company benefits for their employees, such as: high salary, team building, paid holiday,… and I think it is a good environment to work.

Subject: Exploring Principled Negotiation

Dear Ky Duyen,

   I am writing to share you the type of negotiating I like the most.

Each negotiator has different negotiating styles and negotiation skills. As far as I know, there are 3 types of negotiating styles: hard, soft and principled style. Among them, the negotiating style that I like the most is the principled style.

This negotiating style focuses on the interest of parties and emphasizes conflict management and resolution. The objective of this style is to reach a win-win agreement. Negotiators should look for new solutions to the problem that will allow both parties to win.

Principled style can reach a favorable outcome for both parties while maintaining good relationships, and this is an advantage of this style.However, a weakness of this style is that it is not useful in all situations. This negotiating style will be not used if the bargaining position is irrelevant. Therefore, the principed style  is not often used in business negotiations.

I belive principled negotiators tend to identify common interests and find creative solutions. Moreover, a principled negotiator has a tendency to discuss a fair criterion. For me, it is the best style to negotiate.

          Dear Duyen,

        I hope you're doing well! I wanted to share my experience from my latest job interview with you.

      Last week, I applied for the position of an accounting assistant at ABC company and after 3 days sending applicant form, I were called for an interview. My interviewer was Lien – a chief accountant. At first, she asked me about personal information . Then, she wanted me to talk about education background. After that, she required me to tell about work experience, strenghs and weeknesses . The part I like most in the interview is good answers of me. The thing I did well in the interview is that I answered the questions about my strenghs. Since I carefully prepared the same questions before the interview, I answered them quite well. I was happy when the interviewer said that she was very impressed by my answers. Despite my careful preparation, I did some mistakes in the interview. I didn’t research information about company background so I failed when she asked me about the headquater and founder of company. I think I need to prepair better in the next time. Although I was not offered the job, I gained valuable experience from this job interview.
