1. What is the main idea of the text?

The main idea of the text is that many teenagers experience body insecurity, often caused by social media and pressure from others, and it’s important to focus on being healthy and confident instead of trying to look perfect.

2. What part of the text do you find most important or interesting? Why?

The most important part is when it explains that social media often shows edited or filtered images. This matters because many people compare themselves to unrealistic standards, not realizing those photos aren’t always real.

3. Have you or someone you know ever felt insecure about their body? How did you or they deal with it?

Yes, one of my friends used to feel insecure about being too skinny. She talked to a school counselor and started focusing more on her strengths, like drawing and helping others. Over time, she became more confident and stopped worrying so much about her looks.

The main idea of the text is about body insecurity in teenagers; what causes it, its effects, and how to deal with it in a healthy and positive way.

I think the most important part is when the text explains that social media often shows edited or filtered images that don’t reflect reality. This is interesting because many teenagers compare themselves to those images without realizing they are unrealistic, which can greatly affect their self-esteem.

Yes, i have a friend who used to feel insecure about her skin because she had acne during her teenage years. She often felt shy and avoided taking pictures with her friends. To deal with it, she started asking people she trusted about skincare and looked for routines that suited her. She also focused more on her hobbies and the things she was good at. Slowly, her confidence grew, and she learned to accept and love herself more.
