Malala was a young girl who used civil disobedience to fight for the girls to go to school in Pakistan. Girls in Pakistan could not go to school and Malala was the one to peacefully stand up for their rights. Malala was on a bus with a group of girls when the Taliban invaded their bus and shot her in the head. They didn't like the fact that she was defending the women's rights.
