What Are Introduced Species?

When people bring new species into an environment in which they do not belong, they are considered Introduced species. If the species does not adapt , it will die out. If they are in competition, with one or more species, they will also die out. However , if the species breeds and survives , it will affect the native species. Now that the species is part of the ecosystem, it will compete for resources, change grazing patterns, and/or change the predator/prey dynamics. This can affect the other species and even lead tho their extinction , or growth.

For example they both discuss the effects on other species' populations and the effects on the producers' population. All of which lead to effects on the food web.
