I believe that they are such useful tools that can add to our teaching practice a new dimension. I have been learning to experience with technology and to create new accounts to less known websites. I totally believe that my students will be overenthusiastic and more willing to participate to activities done through these electronic tools.

Both wix and weebly seem to be nice, user-friendly and allure me to explore them more. Different links and images can be uploaded creating my personal philosophy as teacher. It can promote my work. Additionally symbaloo seems to be the ultimate gadget for a multitasking person let alone a teacher. It helps me to organize everything and to have quick access to links necessary for different lessons with different students. I also liked the idea of e-diary through the padlet platform. I would advice my students to keep note of our lessons so as to have a more spherical point of you of the material covered.

Not only can I organize it but also I can promote it. My CV can become interactive containing much more information and samples of my work. Thus an employer can have a more accurate image of my personality and my work.
Additionally, the idea of e-portfolio seems to work fine within the classroom. I will incorporate it to my lessons. Through student portfolios my students will be able to select what to include in their portfolios. Thus the idea of self-assessment is promoted. They will have the opportunity to present what parts of their work make them feel proud to present. Peer evaluation is also enhanced.
Educaplay is really awesome and can empower a teacher with a variety of tools so as to make the lesson a game-like process.

Collaborative Online Writing - Project Work Platforms

                  Week 5
Classroom is a social environment, where learners become social beings. The power of group is really important. However, the good ones are not very willing to be in groups, since they feel the responsibility to support the others. ICT tools come to solve this problem. Writing is a process which goes through certain steps and the digital media can contribute to the assigning of roles and duties of the different members of the team. Students can share creativity, exchange ideas, comment on ti and make public the best part of their work. Additionally ICT tools make collaborative writing much easier since it can be accomplished through the comfort of one's home. Google offers a great many opportunities for collaborative writing. The members of a team can work simultaneously on a google doc or google slides since they can share it with other users. Students' imagination is also enhanced when storytelling is incorporated in the lesson. Platforms such as storybird and storyjumper can challenge students to imagine and create slides depicting what will happen to a story. Stories can be created or adapted by the students themselves. I am looking forward to using it to my lessons!

Puzzles, movie maker, crazy dog animator and space news were presented. We were called to practice them. Mr. Zapounidis tried to enhance our willingness for learning though a competition, the winner of which awarded with a paid subscription. Online editor, lunapic, pdf creator and nero program were also introduced. I have learnt how to import an audio from youtube, to copy it and cut at any point and mix it with other images or videos creating a new one. Finally, I really like the lasso option which enables me to cut and separate the point of the main focus from the rest of the background. The transparency effect is also useful from the creation of real like images.

The activities of practicing and consolidating the vocabulary skills can be created through specific ICT tools in order to look like games, playful activities that incorporate, image, sound, movement. The sensation is of playing rather than of studying. Such useful ICT tools are
educaply, quizlet, cram, purposegames, jigsaw planet, tarsia, literacy central, worldwall, puzzle creator, class tools arcade (I really liked the pacman game!), who wants to be a millionaire?, mindmaps which can be used for clill lessons such as in geography, bubble us and mind. domo.

                Week 8
Nowadays the idea of assessment gains more and more room. Assessment in terms of productive feedback in order to become better. The importance of summative assessment should be highlighted. There are different kinds of assessment: teacher assessment, student assessment, self assessment, peer assessment. We need an assessment that takes into consideration our strengths and weaknesses and not just a mark. Creativity should be assessed as well. We have to set parameters and fair criteria based on which the assessment will take place. When it comes to the online assessment extra possibilities are added since we can monitor and check the time needed for answering, we can estimate the wrong answers, the total score, find the average and compare and contrast the results and even represent them through more comprehensible diagrams. It is more reliable and fair.
CAA- Computer Assisted Assessment offers computer addaptive testing and automatic scoring.
Rubistar is a wonderful platform to use it for collaborative work and the creation of posters.
Playposit and Proprofs ignited my interest to experience more with them.

                  Week 9
Flipping the class provides students with more digital skills. The whole class time can be devoted to actual learning and not teaching since the instructions can be delivered out of class. Flipped classrooms can create a better attitude toward learning since learners' independence is increased, they can read in their own pace. It is a different learning situation and it changes the class culture. Padlet and google classroom can also be used. In google classrooms students can not only have access with a registration code but they can interact, update a google doc, edit it and share it with others. I feel enthusiastic about edmodo. So many options and possibilities. I like the fact that it gives the sensation of facebook. I am sure that my students will love it since they want to explore it but their parents do not allow it. Additionally I like the fact that everything that takes place a notification is sent to the teacher. You can see everything that happens in the community and you can even delete a post. Playposit is also a wonderful platfom for the creation of imaginative game-like activities.

Powtoon has many different templates that can be used. My Simple Show and moovly work fine as well. I really loved kizoa. It seems to me more user friendly and a much easier platform to use. Voki and threat voice are nice but I feel that I need to familiarize myself with them. I think that some of my students will love it whereas some more introverted will be more shy to use it.

               Week 12
ICT tools can change the class classroom and promote collaborative work. Our aim is to make the process of teaching and learning as creative and playful as possible. We should gamify our classes. We should be careful with the instructions while we organize and create new exercises. I will avoid traditional instructions instead for example of using technical terms like grammar or vocabulary I will say for crosswords Can you solve it?
In case of no available computers or electrical supply or wifi connection I will have been prepared in advance. For this reason I will create a set of activities and templates that do not require internet access since they will be downloadable. Such platforms are the powerpoint templates, gamish, the wheel of fortune and the creation of board games through educaplay. Additionally I would like my students to have a more spherical point of view of the era and the place where they live. Thus I will call them to visit and explore the platform of euro statistics and the website of "My Country". There they can find useful, interesting and funny information about today's world.

                  Week 13
After a really wonderful and creative semester, the last lesson took place. Ms. Ziaka invited us to the 3rd Experimental School of Evosmos. A school that does not remind any other state school that I have visited. A really pleasant and tastefully decorated place. The lessons there are being taught through modern and game-like processes. I would like to be a student there. We experienced how is it to learn and exercise the geography lesson through playing x-box. We tried to creat our zoo with wild animals like chimpanzees and to offer various facilities to the animals. I found it difficult to cope with it since I do not play video games. In contrast with me, I believe that my students would love it and be more anxious to experience it. Another exceptional game was Wii. Oh my God, was so much fan. A great variety of sports and dances. I have started thinking seriously of buying one for me. there is movement, competition and activities that challenge students to keep up the good work.
However, the best part was in the end. Ms. Ziaka offered us unforgettable moments by caring us so much. She had prepared a mini-party for our group with yummy snacks and drinks. We thanked her for learning us so many and so extraordinary skills, for being always there to help us, encourage us and motivate us to experience with new, unknown platforms. The best think for me and the one that I would remember is that no matter what you do, you have to do it with pleasure and smile not with pressure and stress. Do it with love and you succeed. Everything works better when you see it as a game.
Working hard seems easy when you have fun!!!!
