We should be aware of that fact each cultural background may give a way of thinking or acting.

As a workshop leader, we need to benefit from different views of others to fully understand each other and enrich the learning journey of our participants.
I will put strategies into the workshops to remind each other to share what we are seeing through our cultural glasses to understand, appreciate and benefit from… I think it is necessary to give participants opportunities and inspire them to think critically on resources and their own experiences about cultural commonalities and differences to set foundations for being international minded.
I will adopt “cultural glasses” in a way to promote considering different perspectives it can be through role plays or Y chart strategy. So, participants will have a chance to examine what something or some situation look like/sound like/feel like through different perspectives while practicing empathy.
Here we focused on nationalities, i think we can transfer the knowledge and skills we have gained in this activity into other forms which may shape people's perspectives such as generation differences (for example giving commonalities of generation X, Y and Z) or gender equality according to the context and needs of the participants.

Here I also had a chance to transfer knowledge from the literature of adult learning "Transformative learning approach to adult education by Mezirow". If we relate it with our lives, it becomes more interesting to us. I am sure most of us have their memories back with those resources and enjoyed while understanding what is being open-minded. Through reflecting on the stories of real people and ours, we can provide learners to have a chance to challenge their own views and gain a new perspective.
