I used to work in Gibraltar and I also grew up in the south of Spain so i am quite familiar with the region. I have worked in the insurance industry for over 15 years now in various capacities including claims and underwriting management. My current role involves managing complex clinical negligence cases and I also assist with the running of the claims team. I am ACII qualified and I am a Chartered Insurance Practitioner. Lovely to meet you all.  I teach on the module along with Wendy and have done so for around 5 years now.  I joined the university in 2007 and completed my PhD in Ethics 2015.  I love to travel to Asia, and any where else in the world when my finances allows it.  I am in the same book club as Wendy. Reading books is a great way to relax, along with going to the gym to keep fit.

I am taking this module as part of the Distance Learning MSc in Risk Management.  This is the fourth module and looking forward to this having a slightly different focus.  Being married to a Tibetan may give me some useful insight in to this subject as they have an interesting perspective on life.    
I work as an Insurance Broker in Aberdeen and, as I only started my new job four months ago, it is taking up a chunk of my time.  
Outside of work and study the rest of my time is pretty much spent trying to stop my fearless three year old from damaging herself.

I am currently Head of Corporate and Project Quality for a major utilities company based in the city of perpetual sunshine .....Glasgow where I led the development and implementation of a project focussed Governance Framework which is utilised across the Large Capital Project portfolio. Previously I worked in the Abu Dhabi and various locations in the Far East. Outside of work I enjoy golf, cooking and recently started hill walking.
