Now that we have done portraits with pencil, Let's try something new. Using magazines, newspaper, cardboard, cereal boxes, discarded food wrappers or any scrap paper create a portrait. There are many approaches to this technique. You may try the grid method, but proportions are not the focus on this project. You may even try to do a pet portrait. If paper and glue are not available, try creating a portrait with extreme use of color versus our neutral color scheme of the previous portrait. Email me your progress if you would like!

-Start with a line drawing of the face outline.
-Draw in neck and shoulders
-Draw in the facial features
-Draw in the hair
-Look for paper in the color of desired areas
