Judas started out as the twelfth disciple. He was with Jesus for three years. He was also a thief. Judas was in charge of the group's money and stole from it many times.

Judas was a very greedy person as we can see from the earlier point where he stole money from the group. He traded Jesus, his friend, in for a mere 30 pieces of silver. How much would you take to sell out your friend of three years?

The Kiss of Betrayal

As the disciples were in the garden Judas led the soldiers there. He told them that the one he would kiss on the cheek was Jesus. A kiss is very significant because, it symbolizes their friendship but by showing it he betrays Jesus.
