Trust Vs. Mistrust is the conflict coming to trust those around you, this is determined by your needs getting met. My parents fed me and kept me nourished, both physically and emotionally. This established basic trust of the world around you

1-3 Autonomy Vs Shame/Doubt

In this stage you start to develop a level of independence, to rely on yourself. When I was this age, according to my parents, they would have me pick out my own clothing for the day. This establishes a reliance on the self to avoid feelings of self-doubt.

3-6 Initiative Vs Guilt

Initiative vs guilt is where we start to take the lead on things that we do for ourselves, this lets us find purpose and avoid the guilty feelings of being unsuccessful. When I was a kid, we had a baseball field that was torn up behind my back yard. There were large piles of gravel that had hardened, I took the initiative to gather my friends on the street to use the mound for king of the hill.

7-11 Industry Vs Inferiority

In this stage we start building confidence in our abilities or develop a sense of inferiority. In this time I started to learn a few instruments, I practiced a lot and felt good about myself when I played for people. This helped me feel confidence in myself.

12-18 Identity Vs Confusion

In this stage we come to the conflict of finding our sense of identity and our role in the world. At this time I was studying a lot of political science in my free time, and listening to a lot of politically engaged music (mostly punk rock). Through my study, and listening habits, I found who I am and how I want to be in the world.

19-29 Intimacy Vs Isolation

In the conflict, Intimacy Vs Isolation, we establish deep relationships with others or we find ourselves isolated. I spent ages 19 through 23 moving around the United States, I left a lot of relationships behind. I only kept my closest friends in my circle, and I found myself in Cleveland the longest. I maintained my close friendships back home, and I met my wife while I lived in Cleveland. We moved back here in the end, but I established a deep intimacy with my wife and with my friends.

30-64 Generativity Vs Stagnation

In this stage, we form families and contribute to society in other ways. I may not be this age yet, but in my own life I have started my family and I work with kids. To pass down what I have learned in life so far to help shape a new generation.

65 and up Integrity Vs Despair

Here we look back at our lives, we find the meaning of what we were, and did, or we find despair. I am far from this stage, but I think if I keep finding work that makes me feel existentially satisfied, growing my family, and working with the organizations that I do with my free time I will be able to look back like I contributed.
