1. Propaganda is rumors or generalizations to make you want to do something.

2. Some examples of propaganda are things such as "Give 'till it Hurts", or "Buy More Bonds" to encourage military action and/or support as a bandwagon. Another is how even though there are zero interest rates on credit cards, yet they have processing fees, which is card stacking. Another is how often advertisements will say how poorly treated animals all, an example of glittering generalities. Yet another is how bullies often insult victims with name-calling. Another would be a drive for vaccination, which is the type of propaganda called plain folks. Another would be how athletes support certain products, which is a testimonial. Another would be how previously, pesticides were found in one carbonated drink, so it was applied to all carbonated drinks, which is the type of propaganda called transfer.

3. Propaganda is used in Jonas's society to make the citizens always be polite and think generally the same way. Along with that, they seem to not think for themselves, or do things out of line.
