We chose the colour red because it connotes sexual desire (the male gaze theory-Laura Mulvey), danger and love- the synergy was followed through the whole of the ancillary products. We made sure that the artist wore red lipstick in all images, and the text (album name), is also in red, to enhance the synergy idea.
