God is not looking for perfect vessel to use but willing ones.

As we venture into deeper waters, we need to stay closer to the Holy Spirit.

Besides listening to the still small voice of the Holy Spirit, we need to abide and put into practice.

God can move beyond my limitations. Trust in His power to work in and through me. Holy Spirit also helped me to see that I have been doing God’s work because it is the right thing to do, but deeply feeling the burden for His work and purposes. I want to feel God’s heart for the people and not just cognitively know it.

About seeking the guidance of HS and being intentional to yield to the HS. Sometimes seeking the voice of the HS may be my last resort.. but it shouldn’t be this way. And it’s not abt us having the HS, but the HS having more of us.. for us to rly live a life for God

I do not want to be waist deep when it comes to my relationship with God. A lot of times, I know I should not be just waist deep, but my actions reveal that I am contended with being waist deep. Sometimes, I fear going deeper with God because of what He will call me to do. Hence, it helps me to reflect if I truly put my trust in God that even if He were to call me into deeper waters, He will be the one who sustain me even though it might lead me out of my comfort zone.

I am reminded of Isaiah 55 - “come” , “listen” & “seek” . I need to continually come before the Lord and listen, not just at certain occasions and times. Only if I listen and seek, I will be able to find Him. Sometimes, I do fear that what if what I “found” is not in my favour - but the Lord reminds me that He is Sovereign and I can trust in Him. Live in the Holy Spirit and I will see His miracle.

To go from waist deep to fully immersed w full surrender. It is easy to stay at where I am, thinking that God is okay w it. Like a 点到为止 effort. But am reminded that if I'm half half, God ain't liking that either because at the end of the day, I am trying to serve God in my own comfort.

Not just to seek knowledge but be renewed in mind, Spirit and heart to be well with my soul. Be willing to let go of things and let God work deeper in all things. To live by faith is important, and living by faith might look very much counter what the world expects us to live.

1 thing I've been reflecting on is the purpose of stability in life in Singapore. Instability is when we more easily live by faith, yet when there's stability, it should be used as a platform to allow us to live by faith even more.

I resonated with the point that PJ made about how we shudnt be put in a position where we speak because we have to but we speak because He tells us to. Being in leadership requires one to speak a lot, and I pray that i am able to listen clearly to Him and bring His word and message clearly.

That we always have the faith factor whenever we do God’s work! Plan our best but no need to suffer from paralysis by analysis.

I was reminded that many times, I was convicted by HS in doing Kingdom's work, eg outreach. Many times I felt inadequate and fearful but HS lead me deeper and gave me the passion and heart for the lost. Surrendering to the HS leading is the time we can encounter God deeper and our desire to grow and serve becomes stronger. Growth happens after I partner with HS.
