Hi Paula,

Just so you know, you don't have to interview an expert nurse because you are working in clinical practice. Students not working in clinical practice who cannot implement their project are the only ones who will have to interview an expert nurse. I was only asking everyone to provide the contact details of an expert nurse if they know one who would be interested in being interviewed by one of our students. I hope this makes sense, and I am sorry for the confusion.

Warmly,

Mark

Good evening Mark,

I have an inquiry regarding assessment 4, as I am slightly confused. In your email last week, you mentioned about interviewing senior nurses and posting their email/specialty on the discussion board. I would like to clarify whether it is mandatory to post the email address?

My specialty is actually really small, with my department only having 2 staff, including me. Therefore, there are minimal people who I can interview. My CNC is the only senior nurse, who I have been asking advice from, and consulted, regarding the project plan. In fact, throughout the whole project, I have been kind of interviewing her, as she has been involved in many QI projects in the past. She is currently on leave till next month, so do I need to include her email in the discussion board?

Kind regards,

Paula

Hi Jennifer,

You will not have to report results if you are not working in clinical practice. Instead, in the results section, reflect on the results you would have had if you could have implemented your project. When you interview the senior nurse, you could also ask them what they think the results might have been and advise if the design could have been improved to have yielded better results. You don't need tables and figures.

Warmly,

Mark

Hello Dr Mark,

May you please verify if the above students should focus on the feedback about feasibility and potential to yield positive findings ; in place of tables and figures for project findings.

With thanks,

Jennifer.
