I am making this quilt for my son's wedding. Why? Their bedroom is grey and they need a pop of color. This quilt has their favorite colors: blue, green and grey. I though it would be great to make something that pulled the 2 of them together! It's not done yet...needs to be finished, quilted and edged :)

To add on to this, the trunk of the elephant has a hidden light inside to provide light on the table to maximize user ease. The table top itself would be made of glass, with the edges being jagged (but sanded of course) and painted gold to add an elegant effect, similar to the look of a geode. The elephant is hollow and would be made of heavy ceramic. I was inspired by a similar table of a hippo wading in water. I wanted to create something that would look good and be useful. The table is painted a matte french create color. After I spray painted it I wanted to have a cool and unique table top. I chose this stencil at the fabric store and wanted to use it for my project. I used the quote "Let's get lost" and I put arrows on the drawer part of the table. The first one is supposed to have feathers on the bottom of it and on the neck is a pearl necklace. For the second one It has a neck piece connected to the top and on the sides are a thin piece of fabric because the middle of the dress is cut out and is exposing the person's skin, then on the bottom is a mixture of black a purple tulle.

I really enjoy interior design and working with different colors/color schemes. I think starting with a idea of what room I want to create a mood board for is a good beginning. I decided to do a bedroom (based around what I would want my dream bedroom to look like). Taking inspiration by a neutral color scheme or something more colorful like a triad color scheme could also be fun. I also want it to have a modern feel but also rustic. On the other end, I also love how beach houses are designed and also a “beachy” feel that they give. Using colors like greens, blues, or even yellows to create a very serene room that almost makes you feel like you live on a beach.

I want to use sketch up to design a room. The type of room I want is an open space for a kitchen and or a dining room. I want my room to feel homey as well as formal. I want to use light grays and soft toned colors to give life to the space as well as a mood. Adding an accent color to a wall is something I might incorporate into this space as well. I want to add subtle decor and some natural light into the room. I would also like to add greenery and or plants to give the room some more color. I want my room to feel homey, open, as well as slightly formal.

I love fashion and sometimes I like wearing clothes that make me stand out a little more and I thought this would be a perfect thing to do. I have a pair of shorts in my closet that I don't use anymore and i thought, why not make them my own by adding things that represent me and my style. I have allways love to be creative or draw freehand. Fashion has helped me with some of my skills with color. when I draw I would only use gray/ black. I did not now how to use colors to make my art mach. for my sunset I did look at some painting on pintrest. I fount one that I like. The whole them of this project is to be creative so i did not copy what the picture had, i made it my own.
