Global warming denialists have turned to using polar bears as evidence that global warming is a hoax. However, scientific evidence has shown that global warming is not only prominent, but affecting the polar bear population as well. Studies have shown that their population has suffered an alarming drop in the past few years, and the physical deterioration of their habitat has also been a key focus of scientists. The movement to debunk climate change denialists is now more predominant than ever, and each year more scientific evidence is being presented to help scientists' cause. With glaciers melting at an alarming rate in the artic, and now polar bear populations are starting to decline, the case is becoming stronger than ever

This year, the amount of artic sea ice in barely missed on being a record low, barely being above the record low set in 2017. This is obviously an indicator that climate change can no longer be seen as a hoax, it is here. the amount of ice in the artic has been in decline for decades, so even though there was a slight improvement this year, it's hardly an indicator that things are getting better. This change in temperature causing the ice too melt is believed to be what is causing abnormally cold weather in the northern hemisphere. Weather is influenced by jet stream, and since the artic is warming almost twice as fast as the rest of the earth, the jet stream is pumping cold air north, which causes colder temperatures. Global arming is here and it's alarming, and measures must be taken in order to ensure the problems it causes do not get worse.

The EPA has launched an investigation on Twitter, examining if Pruitt is truly receiving threats of harm and even death. These "threats" have caused Pruitt to receive priority flights to events such as basketball games. Pruitt has already come under fire for his questionable policy decisions, as many of his decisions have either been struck down or received an alarming amount of scrutiny. Now, the investigators of the social media have found that there are minimal threats being hurled at Pruitt, and no death threats have actually been encountered. Obviously, this is not a good look for Pruitt, as he now will continue to be caught under fire for not only his decisions, but also for his thought of entitlement.

Tons and tons of waste products have been dumped into a landfill inn Russia. This is typically not too much of a problem, the waste must go somewhere and landfills are the best solution. However, the place where all of this waste is being dumped is close to a place inhabited by people. The pollution from all this waste cause dizziness and trouble breathing. This unfair dumping of the waste has caused people to form a rally to ensure that the waste is relocated to a more suitable sight. Citizens have been arrested because of the illegal forming of protest groups, but the message was made clear, as President Putin ordered for the landfill to be disbanded. However, there is so much waste that needs to be transported, that a suitable area is hard to come by. The government needs to ensure it is not near an inhabited place to ensure another rally doesn't break out.

Solar energy is everywhere nowadays, as companies and even people have made efforts to switch over from fossil fuels. However, although solar energy and other renewables accounted for over a third of the country's energy sources last year, fossil fuels still remains a major part of our energy production. This indicates that we still have a long way to go before we completely turn the tide of harmful emissions on our planet. Yes, progress is certainly being made, but we need to persist in implementing more and more renewable energy sources to ensure we do not continue with the destruction of our planet. Mostly, the growth of solar power will have to be spurred by the people, as government paying may not always be an option, so it's important that businesses and the people are committed to changing the way our country produces and uses energy.

Climate change affects more than just humans. It affects the plant and animals of the world as well, and this can tamper with their habitation and migration, causing there to be an imbalance in the environment. For example, birds, who live on farms, who usually fly away when spring comes are now facing the task of airing the land with the farmers that sow the crops and the land as a whole. Climate change also affects certain plants ability to grow. Plants who rely on a particular type of climate have been met with tough situations as they struggle to thrive in an inadequate environment. something needs to be done about climate change, as if the problem continues to fester, then the implications can be downright devastating.
