In the 2nd 10 day faze 100 students would be administered the drug, 100 given the placebo and the remaining 100 would be given no treatment. As they study shows that there was a 63% increase in the students ability to recall the words. Now the students who received no treatment went from averaging 3.2 words to averaging 3.5. There was no significant change. The students who were given the placebo went from 3.3 words to about 4.2 again no real significant difference. The .9 difference could be credited to the placebo affect. Now the students who did receive the drug went from 3.3 words to 8.9 words.
