This was the worst hurricane to hit our area in about 70 years. I was very scared during the storm. A lot of shingles blew off of my roof and I was not able to sleep at all the night of the storm. Luckily no trees fell on my house and everyone I love was safe. I was very sad for the people in North Carolina and those locally who lost their homes. I am so thankful for my family and friends who were my support system during this time. My house did not have power for 10 days so I spent time out of town with my parents and then at my mother-in-law's house when she got power back. I missed my students and was worried about all of your safety. I enjoyed coming to Waycross Middle to make food and share it with our students while we were out. I'm very glad to be back and see that all of my students are safe.

I felt great the entire time. I woke up at 1 am, called Keighlynn, hung up at 2 am, watched ASMR until 6 am, then I went to bed. I flew a kite with my brother the next morning. I went to Florida the first day when I came back Sunday my power was on. We got WiFi a few days later.

During the hurricane I was scared that a tree was going to fall on my house. I also went to sleep at 6am and woke up at 8am and then I went outside and played on the fallen trees. It was fun. I also was extremely un-excited to come back to school but during the break I went to universal and that was fun so I had a lot of fun during the hurricane.

I had fun playing football, but at night my older siblings slept in my room and kept screaming cause one touched the other and when my brother came back from the bathroom he got scared and jumped on my arm

We ran out of power. A tree hit my shed. I hated working in the yard for days. We went out and brought 3 generators. For the house, the commissary, and the food truck. I got in the pool at the hotel in Jacksonville.

My dad and my brother were running outside when the hurricane hit. And the tree fell down. And we found this lost dog. And before we left we look around everywhere to see the damage. And we went to Miami over the break. And it was so much fun because we got to stay at a hotel with a pool. And we just had fun and I had some internet and I had some food with me. So yeah had I fun.

my friends house was okay but her backyard was destroyed my mom stepdad siblings and papa and cousin was there we had to eat military rations we had no power for five days I had to help my friend git her yard clean and my yard to I was worried that our water was Going to be shut of because that would have had no way of filtering it I had a bad fever I could not breath at all but I'm better now the huricane was bad

During the hurricane I was never home even before the hurricane. I was at my aunts house when it all started and the next day, I went to my grandmas and I stayed at my grandmas the entire time. It was very hot with no AC but after a week of the hurricane my grandma bought a generator and it was finally colder. We all took freezing showers so we could be cooler. When the hurricane first happen my parents were home and I have a shed in front of my house and it came out the ground and it almost hit my house on the same side my parents were on. And the crazy thing is that when we plugged the generator up, the power turned on a few hours later. This was a very scary thing but thankfully we are safe! But I was happy that there was no school!

OMERE.I was woke when the storm hit us I was going to sleep then I heard a bang so me and my dad went outside to go look and it was the strom it was windy and strong so we went back inside To go to sleep then when me my brother and my dad woke we had no power than we went outside and all the tree's was down.

I felt good about coming back to school because, I get to see my friends which is fun and, also see my favorite teachers. Anyways the stuff I went through during the storm was kinda fun because we went outside when it was dark so we played hide and seek but we had to use flashlights. It also was kinda scary cause I woke up in the dark at 4am in the morning with no power and my dad had to grill or go out of town to get food.

There wasn't much damage during the storms besides a couple of trees that fell in my backyard and one that fell on our house above my bedroom. I'm just lucky I wasn't in my room the time it fell.

The one thing that made me feel safe is me being able to have somewhere to go. I will say that it was a long time for the power to come back on which kinda made me feel home sick, overall it was something nice to get to see in a life time.

After the storm happened, a huge tree in my front yard blocked the exit to my drive way we were stuck in there for about two weeks and almost hit my house. it could of hit the house but I'm glad it didn't we could not get out we had no power for that whole time so we had to get food brought to us and keep the windows open because it was very hot after a while we got our power back and for my mothers birthday we went to the mountains and stayed in a two story cabin with a nice area to stay in we went to a fancy Italian food place and that is where my sister got proposed to.

the hurricane was scary but it wasn't too bad the only thing that left me shook was trees on the ground and house that were broken with trees luckily God helped provide for my house to not break but unfortunately we didn't really eat like were suppose to we ate barbecue food for days and got tired of it so then we ate food from mc Donalds the whole time but we would get food from different places, but I was really sad with no wifi that's my whole life.... but anyways it was kinda fun because on one of the days my sister read me a scripture from the bible it helped me learn to change my ways but my auntie also brought us scooters so that made me really happy to but that's it at-least it was kinda fun

When I was home and mom had went to the hospital cause she was feeling bad and then she sent my auntie back to get me and my sister . After we left we locked the door behind us it was raining already so my auntie knew it was be a hurricane after my mom got out of the hospital we went back to my auntie house and then it hit us then the lights blanked six times and then my cosion yelled it took our poarch and then we had a time as a family
