It felt like I was holding on to a rope attached to a super-duper fast powerboat. Every discussion was like I was given a piece of a puzzle, and I would have to connect them to create a concrete idea. It definitely took a lot of resolving and practice problems to achieve that.

This was because I only actually skimmed through section 9.5 the night before the exam (to be honest parang nag flip flip lang po ako ng pages). I had been avoiding the topic because it looked so intimidating. But after the first math exam, I learnt to face my fears. I was inspired and actually solve practice problems. So, I believe it's safe to say I have an interesting relationship with this particular section . (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)

As I began to listen and sought to understand, I grew to appreciate math. I will always remember the moments when you, sir, would manage to connect math topics to real-life situations. That just goes to show how amazing math can be. At times I saw it as scary, but honestly it's super cool, and thanks to you, Sir Joseph, I'm learning to see what you see in math—slowly but surely.
