I am not very confident in parent contact. I did do the required calls, but I prefer to reach out via email. I have time to think of what to say and how to lay out my ideas in a way that is clear and does not contain tone that could be misinterpreted. With phone calls I tend to trip over my words.

Independent Learning! I have done so much with Small Group Work, but I always seem to run out of time for Independent Learning during class when I transition between a variety of different activities with each block that I see class.

I have a hard time getting attendance done timely. Between having the opener on the board-which is using my computer, talking to individual students, starting the class/setting up the class, being excited about what we are doing that day AND having to go back to change absence to tardies, it gets away from me. I am good about memorizing who was there and doing it later-sometime when I get an email from Terri).
