Decisions are never easy to make, but some things that help make making a decision easy are taking time to think about what is best for you and the people involved, as well as thinking about the right thing and what God wants you to do. Also, thinking about the pros, cons, and consequences of your decision can help you to decide. For example, what would the consequences be of running away? You could get hurt or sick and not have anyone to rely on. You could go broke and starve, and not have anywhere to work or stay. You may not know anyone near where you are and your parents would get especially worried if you did not leave a note.

What an author does to hook you into a story is that they use really descriptive words. This is so the author can paint a picture in your head of what's going on, it makes reading more interesting. What an author also can do is to work up to a conflict also by using lots of description. One of the things that happened in this book so far that made it interesting was when all the little rising actions in the story like when rukku threw her doll at the bad man or when her father was came home really drunk and broke her mothers arm.
