Dastarkhan is a Persian word for tablecloth. In Kazakhstan this is similar to the lunch or dinner of the USA. When guest at house you are welcomed very warmly and honored the place of honour at a Kazakhstan home.

In Kazakhstan you go to primary school from grades 1-4, Middle school from 5-9, Vocational 10, Secondary school from 11-12, In the 3 years at Vocational and Secondary school you will be able to choose from good amount types of schooling. Some types are general education at a lyceum or gymnasium, vocational education at a professional lyceum or vocational school, and professional education at a professional college. At school you will be made to wear a uniform made from some of these materials cloth, skin, felt, and fur. The whole school wears uniforms but each grade gets different. The type of uniform is decided among a committee. Some of the uniforms can price from 10,000 Tenge to around 20,000 Tenge.

Of the 18 million people in Kazakhstan 12,636,000 people are Muslim and 4,716,000 are christian. When you do the math it leaves room for only 10,800 people of other religion. One holiday is Nauryz which takes place from March 21-March 23 which represents the Persian New Year. Another holiday is the Kazakhstan People’s Solidarity. This holiday takes place on May 1st and shows the unity of the Kazakhstan population. One last Kazakhstan holiday is Kazakhstan Independence day. This event takes place on December 16. This is the day Kazakhstan took its independence from the Soviet Union and festivities continue the upcoming  day.
