Feedback about the presentations

I personally think it’s better to just present to the lecturers instead of the entire seminar group. It’s great to know the amount of work and effort people have put in their projects but at the same time I am sure almost no one listened to every presentation, they might be preparing for their own presentation and not really paying attention to the presentation going on or they may be distracted or think it’s boring. It also takes up a lot of our time as we have to also listen to feedbacks given to the respective group. If someone wants to be there and listen and appreciate all the presentations they should be able to but if someone doesn’t they should be able to too. There should be a choice basically.

It was good seeing everyone’s work. Allows to see how it went, I would say some works needed less writing on the infographics themselves and to talk a bit less.

I really enjoyed listening to everyone else’s because for me I feel I always need reassurance to know I’m on the right track so by listening to how everyone else interpreted the project It gave me the clarity and confidence I needed to feel confident and comfortable for presenting mine x

I think as future professionals, it's important to present to a room full of people. It allows us to succeed under pressure and deliver a confident presentation, even (and maybe especially when) we are nervous. Yes, it can be challenging to sit through several presentations that all have the same brief, but overall it was insightful to see how others interpreted the brief and the feedback given publicly to each group.

I appreciated the question period and direct feedback given on the spot to groups. It was helpful and constructive.

The feedbacks from tutors were helpful for our future projects but all of the teams having the same brief and same brand to work on felt a bit repetitive in a way where we just look at other student’s idea but dont really learn something new off it.

Having only 5 slides felt a bit restrictive, i know lots of slides in a presentation can bore the tutors as well as the student but maybe we can do something like no more than 10 or 7 slides instead of strict 5.

It was helpful to see what other people did well, or not as well to know how we are doing. It could be optional to stay if some people don’t feel it is helpful. It’s not fun to present to everyone but maybe good practice. I felt the feedback was at times a little too forgiving and didn’t prepare us enough for other graded assignments. Maybe this is because it was in front of peers.
