This is a great one to do revising with a friend

pick a small specific topic (e.g. Group 1 metals)
Draw a mind map of everything you can remember
Get your friend to add on anything you missed (with a different coloured pen)
Check a revision guide...have you covered it all?
What you missed are your gaps, find the information and then quiz yourself on it.
in a weeks' time try doing your mind map again...did you fill your gaps?
