The message of this source is that democracy will weaken Germany. As seen from source A, " Debate and discussion produce weak government. All decisions should be made by one man!" This shows that hitler was trying to spread this idea to refuse democracy and accept totalitarian which he would rule

The purpose of this source is that Hitler while he was serving his sentance wanted to spread Nazi Ideology to gain support from Ethnic Germans and exterminate non ethnic germans like the Jews. As seen from th e source" Germans are the superior race, all the others especially the Jews are inferior race and they should be slaves of the superior race!"

Q. What is Hitler's purpose of writing Mein Kampf? [5 marks]

The message of writing Mein Kampf was to spread his ideas about uniting Germans and creating a stronger Germany under his leadership. As seen from the source, "All Germans should be united in one to spread his ideas about uniting stronger Germany under his leadership. This shows that Hitler wanted to convince the German people to support his vision of national unity and strength.

The purpose of writing Mein Kampf was because Hitler wanted to promote his belief of the German racial superiority and discrimination of Jews and other races. This can be seen from, “The Germans are the Superior Race, all the others, especially the Jews, are the Inferior Race" and “Inferior race should be the slaves of the superior race” This shows that Hitler wrote Mein Kampf to spread the Nazi racial ideology and to persuade Germans to accept his plan of enslaving those he called, "inferior", in this case, specifically the Jews.

The message of Source A is that Hitler wanted to unite all Germans under one strong leadership to create a powerful and dominant nation. As seen from the source, “All Germans should be united in one strong Greater Germany”, “decisions should be made by one man.” This shows that the democratic government is ineffective hence proving unity and obedience to a single leader were essential.

The purpose of source A was to justify expansion and racial superiority ,thereby persuading Germans to support him. As seen from the source, “We should rebuild the army and invade the lands in Eastern Europe...” and “The Germans are the Superior Race; all the others, especially the Jews… should be the slaves of the Superior Race.” This shows that Hitler wanted to convince Germans that conquering new land and discriminating other races were necessary for Germany’s strength.

The message of Source A is that Jews should be eliminated as they weaken and corrode Germany. As seen from the source, "All decisions...Jews are inferior...superior race." This shows that Hitler thought that the Germans were better than the Jews, hence they should be wiped out from Germany to strengthen German power and restore the glory of the past.

The purpose of source A is to persuade Germans to vote for Hitler and his totalitarian rule to regain their national pride and status in Europe. As seen from the source, "Debate...made by one man." This means that the democratic system under the Weimar Republic was ineffective in leading Germany and a new system of totalitarian rule led by Hitler can make Germany rise power again and make Germany great again.

The message of this source is that radical nationalism means are necessary to bring Germany power and benefits the ethnic Germans. As seen from the source "We should rebuild army and invade lands of Eastern Europe....The inferior race should be the slaves of the superior race". This shows that by following the Nazi ideology, which are purging the inferior race, increasing armed force and conquering more lands, Germany will become more united and powerful.

The purpose of this source is to convince Germans to stop supporting the Weimar government and vote for the Nazis. As seen from the source "debate and discussion produce weak governments....All decisions should be made by one man. It shows that Hitler is persuading the public that the democratic government and coalition parties only brings chaos,Nazis's totalitarian rule will restore stability and unity, hence to encourage support of the Nazi.

Both sources agree that, Hitler was manipulating and exploiting the time of weakened wiemar government to gain support, As seen from source b, " They offered simple solutions that exploited peoples fears and frustrations" As seen from source C , "There were simply not enough Germans who believed in democracy and the Weimar Republic' This shows that Hitler took advantage of the Weimar republic's declining popularity to make them support Hitler instead

However, both sources disagrees on how Hitler and the Nazi's gained tremendous support. It can be inferred from the source B that hitler portrayed himself as the knight in shining armour and manipulating people to glorifying and supporting him. As seen from source B, the " Nazi's portrayed themself and hitler as the saviour who were the only option to get Germany out of depression." On the other hand, it can be inferred from Source C that it was actually Hitler's excellent speaking bility that persuaded German people to support Hitler and the Nazis. As seen from source C, "Holding masses under a hypnotic spell....his words were like a whip." This shows that both sources Hitler and the Nazis persuading the Germans to help him gain power but contrasted the diffent way of how he gained this power as one portray himself as saviour and the other being a good speaker, both sources happened during the same period of difficult times after the falling of Weimar Republic.

The message of Hitler's writing in Mein Kampf is that Germany should be unified under one strong leader for the benefit of all Germans. As seen from the source, he states, "All Germans should be united in one strong greater Germany." "All decisions should be made by one man." This shows that Hitler wanted to rebuild the country under a dictatorship, so as to create a stronger Germany.

The purpose of this source is to express his future plans for Germany and to gain support and votes from the public, as well as to influence the public to be anti-semetic and to share his views. As seen from the source, "The Germans are the superior race, all others, especially the Jews are the inferior race, the inferior should be the slaves of the superior race." This shows that Hitler expressed his political views in the Mein Kampf and how he believed the country should be run, but also wanted the public to hate the Jews by blaming them for Germany's problems.

As seen from the source, both source agree that the reason of Nazi's rising influence is that Hitler presented himself "the only one capable to bring Germany out of disaster while the government cannot. As seen from source B, "large amount of people to believe they would get something wanted... only option get Germany out of the depression." As seen from source C, "there were simply not enough Germans who believed in democracy and the Weimar Republic." It shows that people lost faith in the Weimar Government. However, both sources do not agree pm the means Hitler used to spread his message. It can be inferred from source B that Nazis manipulated people's emotions to gain support. As seen from source B, "They offered simple solution that exploited people's fear and frustrations." It can be inferred from source C that Hitler used his excellent speaking skills and charisma to express his message. As seen from source C, "Hitler was holding the masses under a hypnotic speed by sheer force of his beliefs. When he spoke of the disgrace of Germany, we felt ready to attack any enemy." This shows that both sources contrasted in the way Hitler made Germans believe the leadership of the Nazis exploitation of fear in one and convincing speech and charisma in the other one

Both sources agree that the Nazi gained support because they appealed to a multitude of emotions and demands. As seen from the source B, "The Nazi's appeal was wide-ranging because it led a large number of people to believe they would get something they wanted if the Nazi were in power."

As seen from source C, "Hitler was holding masses under hypnotic spell by the sheer force of his beliefs" This shows that many Germans were drawn to the Nazi movement, either by promises of solutions to their problems or by Hitler's charismatic oratory skills.

However, both sources do not agree on the reasons why they support the Nazi movement. Inferring from source B, people were given simple solutions and were made to use people's fears and hatred. As seen from source B, "They offered simple solutions and exploited people's fear and frustration"

However, it can be inferred from source C that support was less for policies but more on losing faith in democracy and WR, as well as Hitler's ability to convince. As seen from source C, "There were simply not enough Germans who believed in democracy and WR", "His words were like a whip". This shows that while both sources agree that the Nazis were widely supported, they differ in explaining why people supported them. Source B emphasises promise and propaganda, while source C pinpoints weak democracy, disoriented WG instability and Hitler's charisma and oratory skills.
