Today there are many factors that lead to poor diet. Among them we can highlight:
 
- The globalization ( for example restaurant chains, specially junk food restaurants like Mac Donalds, KFC...)
- The timetable and workload (fast food, precooked, high fat, etc.)
- Lack of eating habits
- Little education about healthy eating and the risks of junk food.
- Sedentary (television, lack of leisure ...)
 
Due to all these factors, there are more and more cases of childhood obesity. That is why one of the objectives we have as teachers is the prevention of childhood obesity through education based on healthy eating habits.
 
The objective of this activity is to develop different training activities around this theme (childhood obesity), to prevent it. You can choose the level of education to apply this activities, the length, the number and the types of activities. 
To carry out this work, you can guide yourself on the factors appear above and make a solution that you consider possible to solve this problem.

You can follow this notes to create the activities:

  1. Explore about the issue, how it impacts in our society etc.
  2. Write a little definition about what is the problem with your own words.
  3. List the possible solutions
  4. List the objectives that you want to achieve
  5. Prepare different activities to be aware of the issue

There are a lot of causes of water pollution and normally people ignore them. We want you to investigate about this causes so that, you can explain them to your classmates.

Besides, you have to know the different types of water pollution that exits around the world and try to think about effective solutions. Solutions that can be started by us, in the school, in our homes, our neighborhood and our city, Pamplona.

To carry out with this task you have to work as a team, leasen each other and respect all the ideas. We recommend you to follow these steps:

  1. Explore the issues: discuss the problem, learn new concepts about the topic…
  2. List “What do we know?”: what you actually know and what strengths and capabilities each team member has.
  3. Develop, and write out, the problem statement in your own words.
  4. List out possible solutions: list and order them from strongest to weakest.
  5. List actions to be taken in a timeline.
  6. List “What do we need to know?”: assign and schedule research task, especially deadlines.
  7. Write up your solution with its supporting documentation, and submit it.
