I would definitely be upset depends on what happened. I don't think I would know how to react I would be more in shock then anything else. I really don't know how I would respond because I've never been in a situation like that before. Say if one of my family members got in a car wreck. I would call anyone I could find so I can figure out where they are, what happen, and if they are okay. I would be scared when it first happens because I wouldn't know how it happen or if they were okay. Then once everything starts coming to me I would be really scared if they hurt bad, but if they were okay I would feel a little better. If you say they got killed then I would be sad but more mad at the person who did it. In my mournfulness I would still try to help where I could with the situation. I would attempt to figure out how it would effect us in the long run. I would still try and go along with my day-to-day, but it would plague my mind as one would expect. This all depends on severity. If someone in the family died, I would be heartbroken of course but still attempt to help in any way I could and try to get past my depressed state. If he had a financial break down, I would be in panic rather than depressed since I have always viewed money in high regard due to previous economic woes my family has experienced. And depending on how bad it was, thats what would effect my mood. So if like my brother broke an arm or something I would care just not as much as if he go into a car accident and then had to go into surgery. Like if it was fatal then I would care a lot but like something small like a broken bone or a sprain happened that wouldn't effect me as much. But if something happened to my sister thats a different story. She's a premature baby and I worry about her because she's already broken an arm. So I'm more worried about her than my brother.

It would depend on what the bad thing is, if it was a death it would come down to who it was and how close I was to them. If it was a medical problem like cancer I would be pretty upset about it. If my grandmother had cancer I would probably be devastated, but if it were someone on my dad side like a distant cousin, I would not be too upset.
