Eleanor doesn’t know what is going on or what will happen with park and her but she does know she isn’t so sure about him

“how he looks at me. Like he’s biding his time. Not like he wants me. Like he’ll get around to me. Nothing and no one else left to destroy” (rowell 288).

 This relates to the decision because she is describing what park shows her or does while she is in school or even at home to get a better understanding of his liking or even loving towards her.

Person vs. society 

Eleanor had some problems with the kids at her school especially tina but mostly at the beginning 

“hey,” tina hissed. She looked as disgusted with eleanor as ever” (rowell 282). 

How this relates to the decision: This relates to the decision because tina and eleanor had been going back and forth for the longest time all because of park. Everytime that tina sees eleanor along with her group of friends they always have a smart remark to hurt eleanor. Tina says something even when eleanor is in class stating a poem that she is forced to state by her teacher.

Person vs. person

Eleanor and her mom don’t get along to well and sometimes eleanor would complain to her mom about richie and she just didn’t care about it.

“a necklace”, he repeated. “He looked at her blearily, like he was trying to come up with something awful to say, but he just took another drink and leaned back in his chair” (rowell 255).
This relates to the decision because richie wants to buy the kids gifts but is being disrespectful about it when it shouldn’t have to be that way and it makes eleanor dislike richie even more than she ever did which was pretty bad.

Park thought he was in a great spot but eleanor felt differently, she always wanted to tell park how much she loves him but she kept on holding back and took it out on park. Then again park didn’t show her how much he loved her either. 

 
“dear park, eleanor wrote on a clean sheet of stationary. Dear park she tried to explain. But the explanations fell apart in her hands. Everything true was too hard to write--he was to much to lose. Everything she felt for him was too hot to touch” (rowell 319).

This relieved eleanor, but she still felt this hole missing in her so she wanted to write a short letter to park a very short letter, a letter with three simple words.
This could impact eleanor’s relationship with the kids at school because they would want to become friends with eleanor. Even though parks life is still bumpy around the edges everyone is probably relieved about her decision.

This probably would happen because eleanor felt the connection and realized that park and her had a thing or two to relate to when things gets awkward or bad.

This connects to the book because park felt that when him and eleanor were together the world was full of love even though it wasn’t for eleanor.  Eleanor just could not keep up with park and felt the world crushing into her bones with all the stress and just gave up even though she regrets it, it is still one less plate to clean. She always says she thinks that she made the right decision by leaving him but then always tries to run back to park, but she doesn’t put in the work and the thought for it to happen.
