Which means you can get a lot of energy in those years. You can also get a lot of money too. They also can produce energy without direct sunlight.  Also the solar panels can save you a lot of money. For example, they cut down the electric bills by a lot. As we all know solar panels do have a down side. Solar panels don't produce a lot of energy. They also cost a lot of money so that might cost around a thousand dollars or more. They can get severely damaged from severe weather and may cost a lot of money in order to repair them. Solar panels don't work at night and doesn't produce much on cloudy days. You may need to have the right roof for solar panels which means more money needs to be spent. So these are the cons of hydro powered dams. Hydro power dams have made huge amounts of energy but also huge amounts of habitats being destroyed. Unfortunately they can cause droughts and cause many animals to die. They also are extremely expensive. They also cost many lives. For example, think about the lives that may have been lost building these dams.
