In conclusion, Fredrick Douglass did amazing things and helped the abolitionist movement and the women's rights movement. All of the things he did show that we aren't just tiny voices, it encourages us to fight for what's right. Douglass fought for freedom of speech so use it for the things you have passion for. For example, I would fight back if they decided that dance shouldn't be a thing, it sounds crazy but it's true, you would fight just like Fredrick Douglass did. So think of something you're passionate about, and use your opportunity to make the world a better place.

When Fredrick Douglass's mistress taught him the Alphabet she had kindness in her heart, but her husband convinced the mistress' that she would give Fredrick too much power. So she decided to stop teaching him and become cruel to Fredrick. But that didn't stop Douglass from taking the mile. To take the mile, Fredrick Douglass started to run errands but on the way to run errands he would gather information from his neighbors who were white and poor, they would signal teachers to go to Fredrick and teach him.
