William Wallace is knowed to people as a Scottish freedom hero, and he is famous to lead a army against Edvard 1, that he loss and was deported to France. He later on came back to Scotland, where he was killed by the British in 1305.

William was born in the 1270s, in I village called Eldsire in Renfrewshire in a gentry family. His familiy name was very well knowed back in the time in Scotland. However there is not allot of history about William as young, but later in 1296, there was a crisis in Scotland, and he became man whit an army

His mission was to drive the Englishmen out of Scotland and several acasions he manage it in 1297 whit the battle of Lanark, killing a british sheriff and a more knowed battle and lager, the battle of Stirling bridge, where he also won and he drove the English out of Scotland

He arrived England in 1298 from france and only three month later he was going with an army to the north. On the july 22th 1298, the Scots fealt defeat against the Edward 1. William tried to be a diplomat whit the frence in 1299, but he diden’t manage. He was deported to France and Scotland bowed down to king Edward 1 in 1304.

William tried to come back to Scotland from France, but he was capture and killed in 1305 in Smithsvil, London.
He was later on a Sir in history and he is maybe the biggest hero that the Scots ever had or will have. A such master in strategy, and patriotism are not common

He has allot of statues and he became a sir. He is also innprotant for he makes a great role model to Scotland and the world. He believed in freedom, and he diden't wait for it, and grab the chance to do somthing great for his country. He was a man of action and after his life Scotland was occupied by England and forced to be in a union with them. Still William woulden't just wacth and gave the british a fight before they took his country. He was a great man
