tDCS for depression (or, more exciting for me, other neuropsychiatric indications) has always been one of those things that seems both flaky and potentially promising. It will be interesting to see if data is positive and if/how the device will be used (in clinic like rTMS? At home like CES?) and if it will evolve into actual good practice (like ECT, rTMS, etc.) or more shady / weak evidence (like CES, possible VNS.)

Looks like they are doing a study and the FDA is considering clearing it for depression in the US.

Here is my initial grand rounds on asexuality on 2015. I'm working on a new version that will hopefully be more exciting and incorporate more diverse topics instead of just the "101" level.

Also, I should have noted that the back half was a quick run-through of sexual health, the brain, etc. that was meant to demonstrate that it is inadequate, in case that sticks out.

I previously posted on the "weird neuromod" of generating aesthetic chills - apparently some ongoing research.

Could be interesting considering the (unscientifically named) concept of "ASMR" as well as the sensation of "spine-tingling" "eureka" or "sense of enlightenment" - would also be interesting as "placebo" in psychedelic trials though that is complicated if the results in this article are replicated.
