This painting seems to be from early renaissance for a few reasons. Firstly, we can see that there is a realistic background, but there is no use of tonal recession and no excessive use of gold in the background. My second reason why this painting is from the early renaissance, is because there are clear attempts to make three dimensional figures. For example, we can see, on the horses, they are trying to show the front legs and the hind legs. Thirdly, we can see that the figures are still enclosed. We can see that the broken houses and the field are enclosing the figures.

This painting seems to be from the early renaissance for many reasons. Firstly, we can see there is a beginning of understanding of perspective. This beginning of understanding of perspective is shown with the wall. Secondly, we can see that the figures are still often enclosed. The wall is enclosing the figures. There is also a more realistic background, but no tonal recession or gold in the background. Thirdly, we can see there are attempts to make three-dimensional figures. For example, they are trying to show both of the feet on the right-hand figure

This painting seems to be from middle renaissance for many reasons. Firstly, we can see that there is an excellent understanding of perspective. There is also a use of tonal recession, we can see a gradual fading away of colour with distance. Secondly, we can see that the figures are now fully three dimensional. Thirdly, we can see that there is an accurate depiction of nature. We can see the difference the different types of trees and plants.

This painting seems to be from the middle renaissance for many reasons. The first reason it seems like it's from the middle renaissance is the accurate depiction of nature. We can clearly see the different species of trees and plants. Another reason why it seems to be from the middle renaissance is because the figures are fully three dimensional and a very good understanding of perspective is shown. My final reason is because there is a use of tonal recession. We can see how the sky turns from a very dark blue to a very light yellow.

This painting looks like it's from the late renaissance for many reasons. First of all, we can see there is good emphasis on the human form - we can see the different muscles on the human body. My second reason why this painting is from the late renaissance is because the background is lacking a lot of detail. We can only see white and blue in the background. Thirdly, there are nude figures which only started being painted in the late renaissance.

This painting seems to be from late renaissance for multiple reasons. Firstly, there is a use of idealism, which only started to replace realism in the late renaissance. My second reason why this painting is from the late renaissance is because of the emphasis on the human form. On the babies, we can see different type of muscles on they're legs and arms. Thirdly, the background is lacking detail, we can't see clearly how the mountains and the sky look. To add on all of the other reasons, we can see that there are nude figures which only started being painted in the late renaissance

Perspective is being able to show height, position, depth and width by using three dimensional figures, a vanishing point and a two dimensional surface. In my painting, we can see a lot of perspective. My vanishing point is located at the door in the church behind two pillars.
