Today I found a website about German learning called Babbel. On the site I was given some questions and picked the correct answers to it . For instance, I learned "danke" as thanks and "wie geht's" as "how are you".

Today I listened to a song on Youtube about greetings in German. It is really a nice song: unlike most of the other songs about learning language, this typical song should be clarified as Pop songs and follows quite a natural flow, which I can listen to repeatedly and am not bored by it. In the song I revised some phrases like "Guten Morgen" and "Wie geht's?" and learned some new phrases like 'Entschuldigen Sie, bitte" and "Bitte schön"'. It has been really helpful.
The link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3847262/They-look-older-war-toughened-Home-Office-claims-Calais-child-migrants-aged-conflict-REFUSE-carry-intrusive-checks.html

Today I read a German poem named "Du musst das Leben nicht verstehen" (You must not understand life) It is quite a deep poem, and honestly I do not understand most of the words that I have to use the dictionary to look for the meaning of the vacabs. I learned some new words like lässt and Hände, which are quite poetic. Reading poems is a good way to learn language since you can literally follow the rhyme and read along the lines.
The link: https://allpoetry.com/You-Must-Not-Understand-This-Life-(with-original-German)
