Participate in the Royal Danish March, a 20-kilometer continuous ruck march completed in uniform while carrying a 10 kg (23 lb) dry ruck. Participants may earn the Royal Danish Army medal, patch, certificate, and optionally the Danish Veteran Support Medal.

One of the highlights is Hebrew School, running from 23 August through 13 December, with classes tailored for children and youth from ages 5 to 18. Families can register easily using the QR code on the flyer.

The ride will consist of Initial Classroom training, inspection of motorcycles to include the T-CLOCS Method, safety briefing, and departing around 0930.  The Ride will consist of stops along the way to ensure proper function of the motorcycles and visit historic castles and sights along the way.  Lunch break will be at a roadside attraction.  Meals are to be paid for by the riders.  The ride will end at approximately 1630.

Road Closure toward the City Center from August 17 to September 14

To continue ensuring traffic safety, the Department of Civil Engineering will be carrying out repairs to the asphalt surface on Merkurstraße from August 17 through September 14. During this work, the existing asphalt surface will be milled to a depth of between four and ten centimeters, and new asphalt will be laid.

The construction zone extends from the intersection at Dehner/Saturn to Denisstraße. The work will be carried out in four phases (see map). Throughout the construction project, outbound traffic will be routed past the respective construction zone. Due to existing occupational safety guidelines, the inbound lane must be completely closed. Detours will be marked.

Sperrung stadteinwärts von 17. August bis 14. September

Um die Verkehrssicherheit weiterhin zu gewährleisten, lässt das Referat Tiefbau vom 17. August bis 14. September in der Merkurstraße eine Sanierung der Asphaltdeckschicht durchführen. Dabei wird die bestehende Asphaltdecke in einer Dicke zwischen vier und zehn Zentimetern abgefräst und neuer Asphalt aufgebracht.

Das Baufeld erstreckt sich von der Kreuzung am Dehner/Saturn bis zur Denisstraße. Die Arbeiten werden in vier Bauabschnitten ausgeführt (s. Plan). Der Verkehr wird während der gesamten Baumaßnahme stadtauswärts am jeweiligen Baufeld vorbeigeführt. Stadteinwärts muss aufgrund der bestehenden Arbeitsschutzrichtlinien eine Vollsperrung erfolgen. Die Umleitungen werden ausgeschildert.
