Nobody "Bod" Owens- Curious

In the 2nd Chapter, we truly get to know who Bod is, and how he acts and reacts. We learn that he is a very curious person in the first few sentences, For Example, it says, "... he would pester the graveyard folk with questions. ' Why amn't I allowed of the graveyard?' he would ask, or 'How do I do what he just did?' or 'Who lives in here? (Gaiman 35-37)" Also, he would adventure into unknown parts of the graveyard just to see what or who was in there. These pieces of text show that Bod was truly a curious person.

Scarlett Perkins- Cheerful and Friendly

Although we do not see Scarlett that often in this book, we can tell she is a very cheerful and friendly person, especially when compared to others. We know this because whenever we see her, she is always trying to make friends and play with them, even when she doesn't know them. For Example, in Chapter 2, when She first meets Bod, Bod initially insists that he is a stranger, but Scarlett wanted to play with him. Also, by the way that Scarlett speaks, you can tell that she is mostly cheerful all the time.

We know that Scarlett Perkins is caring because when she and her family had to move to a new home far away, she made the effort to say bye to Bod.. She could have just left, as their friendship wasn't that strong, but no, she asked her parents to allow her to say bye to Bod.

The Owens- Understanding

The Owens in this story are Understanding because when they saw the Bod's Parents' Ghosts, they realized that the parents were in distress and wanted the other older ghosts to protect the baby. The Owens could have just brought the baby to the police station or something, but they recognized that for some reason, the Parents wanted to hide and keep the Baby (Bod) safe. Later they realized that Bod would be in danger unless he stayed in the Graveyard. All this shows that the Owens are quite understanding.
