I referenced this piece in the "audience" breakout on Sunday afternoon when we were talking about serious coverage of craft and other "nontraditional" creative practices. I'm not sure about the headline, tbh ... maybe too click-baity. But this was a surprisingly popular piece, and we received feedback from a lot of readers who went to the exhibition.

The evening will feature poetry reading and a panel discussion by local poets River Kerstetter (Oneida), Mark LaRoque (White Earth Ojibwe), Elise Paschen (Osage), and Mark Turcotte (Turtle Mountain Ojibwe). Both Mark LaRoque’s and Mark Turcotte’s work is featured in the forthcoming exhibition catalog for Woven Being: Art for Zhegagoynak / Chicagoland.
