A princess sits in it. One of my favorite pieces by the artist, this one uses cooler shades to create feelings of calmness and gold to symbolize royalty. Like many other works, the colors in this one are muted. It was designed for Princezna Hyacinta, a fairy-tale ballet and pantomime with music by Oskar Nedbal and libretto by Ladislav Novák.
