         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Adverbs</strong> are important because they provide more information about the word/sentence. <strong>Adverbs</strong> help explain what the verb is doing, this helps the audience picture how something was done. <strong>Adverbs</strong> also describe what and how things are done in literature. <strong>Adverbs</strong> are great in writing because they help show sophistication and can help expand your vocabulary.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We can join two independent clauses (sentences) together using <em>conjunctive adverbs</em>. <em>Conjunctive adverbs</em> show cause and effect, sequence, contrast, comparison, or other relationships.<br>The most common of these are:<br><strong>Accordingly, Afterwards, Also, Consequently, However, Indeed, Likewise, Moreover, Nevertheless, Nonetheless, Otherwise, Similarly, Still, Therefore.<br></strong>When writing, we must use a <em>semi-colon</em> (<strong>;</strong>) before the <em>conjunctive adverb</em>. Use a<em> comma</em> (<strong>,</strong>) after the <em>conjunctive adverb</em>.</div>]]></description>
