Biography: Jordan Peele is an American comedian, writer, actor, producer and director. After studying at Sarah Lawrence College, where he majored in puppetry, Peele decided he wanted to try comedy. He dropped out after his second year of college to form a comedy duo with his friend Rebecca Drysdale, with whom he moved to Chicago to pursue sketch comedy and improvisation.

Peele first met Keegan-Michael Key at Chicago's Second City, a comedy club, theatre and school of improvisation. They ended up on MADtv together. After five seasons with MADtv, Peele left at the end of their 13th season and began making work with Key. In 2012, their show, Key and Peele, premiered on Comedy Central and ran for five seasons, 53 episodes total, ending in September 2015.

Over the years, Peele had spent time working on the story for a film that would eventually become Get Out, a horror satire about race relations in America. The film was released in 2017 to widespread critical acclaim, with particular attention and praise going to Peele as writer and director. Peele won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for Get Out and the film was also nominated for Best Picture and Best Director. It grossed over $250 million and was made on a budget of $4.5 million.

2019 saw the release of Us, another horror film Jordan Peele wrote and directed. He is also due to produce the upcoming supernatural horror HBO series Lovecraft Country (Broadway World)<---Click here if you would like to find out more about Mr. Peele.
