The law states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. This means that when you push on something, it pushes back with the same amount of force</p><p>We can see this law in many real-life situations. When we walk, our feet push against the ground, and the ground pushes us forward, helping us move. When we swim, we push water backward, and the water pushes us forward. Birds and airplanes fly because their wings push air downward, and the air pushes them upward. Even when we jump, we push down on the ground, and the ground pushes us up into the air</p><p>Newton’s Third Law is also important in machines and transportation. Cars move because their tires push backward on the road, and the road pushes them forward. Rockets launch into space by pushing gases downward, and the gases push the rocket upward</p><p>This law helps scientists, engineers, and athletes understand motion better. It is used in designing vehicles, bridges, and even sports techniques. Without Newton’s Third Law, we wouldn’t be able to explain many movements and forces in the world around us!</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

You apply force, and the door pushes back on you with an equal force. This is why you feel the resistance when you try to open it. Or think about jumping off a boat.
