He was diagnosed with it about 8 years ago. It was a depressing time because soon after we found out, him and my mom split up for about 6 months. I was only about 8 years old. My worst fear is losing him. But even worse, my worst fear is not being able to make him proud before he goes. I want him to be there for me when I grow old to be married,and have a family of my own. I want my future kids to see how an amazing of a person he is.I want them to see how much of a hardworking, strong, and caring man he is. I dont have a close relationship with him, being that he works a lot to support us.
